We’re excited to announce the launch of our 2026 In Bloom customer gardening competition!
After the fantastic response to last year’s event, we’re once again inviting customers from across our geography to share their green spaces and showcase their gardening talents. In Bloom celebrates those who help brighten our communities and make a positive impact on the local environment.
This year, we’re thrilled to be partnering with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and award‑winning garden designer The Beardy Gardener, who will offer expert advice and join our judging panel.
Categories
There are 4 different categories that you can apply for:
Thriving Community Garden
Small Garden Innovator
Sustainable Garden Innovator
Home Garden in Bloom
Prizes
All category winners will receive a personalised trophy and certificate, plus:
1st place: £200 Amazon voucher
2nd place: £100 Amazon voucher
3rd place: £50 Amazon voucher
First‑place winners will also be offered a professional photoshoot in their winning garden or green space. They’ll receive a visit from a member of our judging panel, our Community Investment and Strategic Partnerships team, or our senior leadership team to hear the story behind their garden. You can see last year’s photos throughout this page.
Photography visits will take place from July to early August, depending on winners’ availability.
How to Apply
To enter, please complete the application form and email photos of your garden or green space—along with your name and address—to Community.Investment@sng.org.uk.
If you’d like to learn more about the In Bloom gardening competition, our Community Investment work, or other community‑led initiatives at SNG, please get in touch at Community.Investment@sng.org.uk.
