Do you know a community organisation in your local area that is powered by fantastic volunteers?
Our Community In Action fund offers microgrants of up to £1,000 to community organisations who are bringing people together this summer to volunteer and make a positive difference in their communities.
We want to support activities such as community DIY, litter picking, community clean‑ups, planting projects and initiatives that encourage young people to volunteer, promote collective action, foster pride in where they live, and strengthen community connections.
If you know an organisation that would like to do this but need a little extra funding to help them get started, you can nominate them to apply through our digital engagement partners, ActionFunder HERE. You just need to fill out a few details about the organisation (including their email address) and they will receive an email to let them know they’ve been nominated to apply for a grant.
You can find out a bit more about the fund on our webpage by clicking HERE.
We understand that you are the experts in what’s happening in your communities so we are really looking forward to seeing your nominations!'
