Transfer of Data
We use Granicus to host our platform, Granicus are data processors and as such may share your data with entities that are located outside of the UK or European Economic Area (EEA). If your data is transferred to entities outside of the EEA, your data is being protected as required by applicable data protection law and safeguards.
Does Granicus transfer my personal data overseas?
Some of the Granicus entities, Data Processors and other third parties that we share your personal data with are located outside of the UK or European Economic Area (EEA).
If we transfer your personal data to entities outside of the EEA (which include our IT service providers, recruitment partners and other Granicus entities in the US and India), we will make sure that your data is being protected as required by applicable data protection law, as described in more detail below.

What personal information we collect
Profile Information
We collect information from you when you register to use this site. This includes your first name, last name, address, email and telephone number. If you opt in to give us more information we will ask your gender, date of birth and information on disability.

We collect your data when you interact with us on Engage. Register on the site to be able to take part in surveys and online forums.
What we do with your information will depend on the nature of our relationship with you and how you interact with our various hubs, projects, and engagement tools.
We collect this information in order to provide you with services and benefits in both our legitimate interests to:
- Analyse and interpret information to help meet our objectives and obligations.
- Communicate information to you about engagement opportunities, events, and other initiatives.
- Engage with customers to make improvements to our products and services.
- Respond to inquiries and otherwise engage with stakeholders.
- Stay connected with customers to understand your needs and preferences and invite you to events.
We will not use your information on this site to process repairs, or any services otherwise provided by Sovereign Network Group .
How long do we keep your information?
We will keep your information for no longer than is necessary, and as long as Engage is active, we will only use it for the purposes for which it was collected and to manage our relationship with you.
If the site is either decommissioned or closed, data will then only be accessible after a retention period of 30 days.

Security

Granicus (https://granicus.uk) are the Data Controller for Engage and store our community data within the UK. As the Data Controller, they have the responsibility for the protection of the personal data of our community.
Granicus do not have to store our community’s data beyond the duration of our agreement with them. They are also equipped to support Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) that meet GDPR requirements.
Your rights
You have various rights in your personal data including the right in certain circumstances to:
- ask us for access to information about you that we hold.
- have your personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- request the deletion or removal of personal data unless there is a compelling reason for its continued processing, for example if we are required to retain it for statutory purposes, or to protect our legal interests.
