Plan For Neighbourhoods
As an SNG resident living in Ryde, you have the chance to help shape Ryde by having your say. You could even be in with a chance of winning a £100 Wight gift card.
Why?
Have your say about how the Government's £20 million investment into Ryde over the next 10 years should be spent.
What is Ryde Neighbourhood Board?
An independent partnership established as part of the government’s 'Plan for Neighbourhoods' — a national initiative designed to empower local communities to shape regeneration and investment in their areas.
The Board brings together representatives from local government, public services, community organisations, and the private sector to help guide Ryde’s long-term priorities and ensure that local voices are central to decision-making.
Although the Isle of Wight Council (IWC) acts as the accountable body - responsible for managing public funds and ensuring compliance with government requirements - the Board itself operates independently of the Council.
The Board sets its own agenda and works collaboratively to support Ryde’s development and community wellbeing.
How?
You can get involved, and here’s how it works:
Share what you actually want, and Ryde could end up with some really useful cool stuff!
Don’t share what you actually want and risk enjoying yet another bench and plant pot.
Simply follow the links on the right and fill in the short survey. It’s as simple as that.
