Grants - how we support our communities
We’re committed to improving the wellbeing and quality of life of our customers and developing thriving and resilient communities.
Our grants programmes deliver investment directly into the heart of our communities to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of our customers and to develop thriving and resilient communities. We fund a range of organisations that share our priority themes which include:
- Health and wellbeing
- Employment support
- Reducing isolation
- Young people
- Financial and digital inclusion
- The environment
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Our Thriving Communities Fund is NOW OPEN for applications from community organisations. The fund offers grants between £1000 and £5000 for projects that promote health, wellbeing, social inclusion and community safety. We are thrilled to announce that this year's THRIVING COMMUNITIES FUND is NOW OPEN!
We’re committed to improving the wellbeing of our customers and supporting communities to thrive. Our Thriving Communities Fund offers funding that empowers local groups to create sustainable, inclusive communities' people are proud to live in.
This year our funding will support projects with the themes:
- Health, wellbeing & social inclusion
- Community safety
We will be focussing on specific SNG locations to ensure that our funding goes into our key communities across our geography to benefits as many customers as possible.

The fund is offering grants between £1000 and £5000.
The fund will be split into 2 rounds:
- The first round will be open from 13th July 2026, and close on 18th September 2026.
- The second round will be open from 9th November 2026 and close on 24th December 2026.
