๐๐ซ Blueberry & Lemon Croissant Bake + Speedy Surprises!
Yesterdayโs cooking session was an absolute treat! We whipped up a delicious Blueberry & Lemon Croissant Bake, warm, zesty, and bursting with juicy berries. Safe to say, there were no crumbs left behind!
But the real twist? While the oven was working its magic, we had a Rubikโs Cube showdown โ and one of our crew solved it in just 42 seconds! Talk about multitasking talent! ๐
Great food, great company, and some unexpected skills on display โ we call that a win.

๐งโโ๏ธ๐ Hear Ye, Hear Ye! ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ
On the eve of last night, brave souls gathered 'round the table of destiny for a most noble purpose: to forge their characters and chart their quests in the ancient and sacred art of Dungeons & Dragons.
Quills were scribbled, dice were summoned, and many a tale was spun, of heroes, villains, and questionable moral alignments.
Thus, a grand adventure begins to stir in the realm...
The party is assembled. The fates are sealed. Snacks have been claimed in the name of glory.Stay tuned, noble followers, for the campaign shall soon commence!

๐๐ Jam & Lemon Cookie Night! ๐ชโจ
Wednesday night was all about sweet treats and teamwork as we baked our very own jam or lemon cookies! We had a few hiccups along the way (because letโs be real, whatโs baking without a little chaos?), but we powered through and made it work.
From sticky jam mishaps to dough that didnโt want to behave, we didnโt give upโand the results were so worth it. Every cookie came out looking delicious and full of homemade charm.
Big well done to everyone who got stuck in and helped, proof that even when things donโt go to plan, teamwork (and a bit of laughter) makes it all come together perfectly!

๐ Happy 25th Work Anniversary, Nikki! ๐
On Wednesday we celebrated an incredible milestone โ 25 years since Nikki started working at the Foyer, right from the very beginning!
Since day one, Nikki has been more than just a colleague โ sheโs been a constant source of support, kindness, and reliability. Her dedication to the team, the residents, and the Foyer itself is something truly special.
If sheโs not busy chatting with a resident, offering her usual words of wisdom, you can bet sheโs in her famous โofficeโ (aka the shed), rummaging away and somehow always finding exactly whatโs needed!
Nikki, thank you for being such a fantastic part of this place for so many years. We appreciate you more than words can say โ hereโs to you and everything youโve done (and continue to do) for all of us!

๐ง Mac & Cheese Magic! ๐งโ๐ณ
Yesterday's cooking session was a huge success โ and weโre still talking about that cheese sauce!
For many of our group, it was their first time making mac and cheese from scratch, and they absolutely nailed it. No lumps, no stress โ just smooth, cheesy perfection.
It was fantastic to see everyone get stuck in, learn something new, and leave with a delicious dish (and a boost of kitchen confidence).
Big thanks to everyone who took part โ we canโt wait for the next one!
