Facilities for you to use

The building is set over five floors and consists of ensuite bedsits, arranged across 9 flats, each with their own kitchen.

Other facilities available for you to use include:

  • Break-out spaces
  • Fully equipped gym
  • Meeting rooms, including a large communal kitchen / lounge
  • Mezzanine seating
  • Several smaller meeting spaces

We encourage everyone here including the SNG team, partners and residents to use all the spaces to meet and work together.

What support is available?

You can be confident that you are supported throughout your journey at The Foyer, from induction to resettlement in independent accommodation.

The SNG team deliver housing-related support and advice, using a trauma informed approach in a psychologically informed environment. As a resident, you will be matched to a Support Worker who will coach and collaborate with you to achieve personal goals and outcomes.

The aim is to focus on areas of support which you tell us is important to you, such as access to education, training, employment or support with mental health issues or substance misuse issues.

    Connect Change Challenge is a new bi-weekly session for collaboration and innovation - these sessions will be all about stepping outside the box to have fun, gaining/improving teamwork skills, connecting with one another through a variety of thought provoking, fun, sometimes weird challenges and team-building exercises, its a space where everyone’s voice matters and every contribution helps us move forward.

    Beyond the fun of the challenges, you’ll be an important part of helping shape and change SNG’s Foyer and the service customers receive - we will want to hear your thoughts, use your expertise, and learn from your unique experiences to make our service the best it can be, by getting involved, you’re helping us grow, and improve.

    Come ready to have a bit of fun, share your ideas, connect with your peers, and help us turn challenges into real, positive change – together stronger, be the change!

    Alongside brunch, we’ll offer helpful guidance on how to bid for homes using Homefinder.

    We are running a dedicated Drug & Alcohol Information Session to provide a safe, relaxed space to learn, ask questions, and have open discussions.



    This session will cover:

    • ✅ The effects of different drugs and alcohol on physical and mental health
    • ✅ Understanding habits, use, and how they can impact daily life
    • ✅ How substance use can affect relationships, finances, and housing
    • ✅ Ways to reduce harm and make safer choices
    • ✅ Where to access support and advice if needed

    The session is informal and non-judgemental, and there is no pressure to share personal experiences, participants can simply listen and learn at their own pace.

    Whether someone is looking for information for themselves or just wants to better understand the topic, everyone is welcome.
