We are pleased to announce that our Venner boxes are back!
Every month we will be receiving a box filled with ingredients to create tasty meals. Venner is known for providing a healthy food at home experience, to empower people to live healthy happy lives.
Eating isn't always about elevating hunger, nor does eating purely serve physical health needs. Cooking and enjoying healthful foods, accompanied with eating within positive social environments, is nourishing for your physical and mental wellbeing.
Often this can feel unachievable, especially when faced with difficult economic or social surroundings, a lot of mixed media messaging and the challenges of every day life!
A great place to start is being curious and interested about the food you're eating. Positive decision making goes hand in hand with the confidence that those choices will create healthy outcomes for you.
Join us each week for fun and welcoming Venner Box cooking sessions, where good food brings good people together. It’s a relaxed chance to meet new friends, pick up fresh cooking skills, and enjoy creating something delicious as a group. Whether you’re a confident cook or just curious to try something new, you’ll be part of a warm, supportive community that makes the experience even better.
Look out for the posters for more details on dates and time.

In this penultimate episode, host Phoebe Newton shines a light on one of SNG’s most impactful supported living schemes: The Foyer in Ryde, Isle of Wight. A place which offers safe accommodation, stability and opportunities for young people who face homelessness.
Phoebe is joined by Luis Montague, a resident of the Foyer, and Nina Kennerdale, one of it’s Team Leaders. Together, they break down how the Foyer works, the challenges young people face today and why this kind of support can be truly life changing.
Luis opens up about his journey to the Foyer while Nina offers a frontline perspective to the services they offer on the island.
This episode cuts through misconceptions and celebrates the resilience and community at the heart of the Foyer.

Today is all about golden stacks, sweet toppings, and that one slightly questionable flip we all pretend didn’t happen. Whether you’re a lemon‑and‑sugar purist or you go all in with chocolate, fruit, and syrup, we hope your day is filled with fluffy goodness.
And because we love any excuse to celebrate, we’ll be making our own pancakes on 17th February at 6pm. Come along, get flipping, and enjoy an evening of good company and even better pancakes.
Save the date, bring your appetite, and let’s make it a delicious one.

This Valentines day, show yourself some Love

Valentine’s Day often focuses on giving love to others — but this year, we’re also celebrating the most important relationship you’ll ever have: the one with yourself.
Self‑love isn’t about grand gestures or heart‑shaped chocolates (although those help too! 🍫💗).
It’s about recognising your worth, treating yourself with kindness, and making space for your own wellbeing.💖 Here are some Valentine’s-inspired ways to prioritise YOU:
🌹 Write yourself a love note — Remind yourself of your strengths and what makes you amazing.
🌹 Plan a date… with you — A walk, your favourite show, a cosy café moment.
🌹 Set loving boundaries — Protect your time and energy like you would for someone you adore.
🌹 Gift yourself rest — Slow down, breathe, recharge.
🌹 Show gratitude for your body & mind — They carry you through every single day. This Valentine’s Day, let’s remember:
You deserve the same love, attention, and kindness that you give to others.Treat yourself gently. Celebrate who you are.
Because you are worth loving — today and every day. 💌✨ -
